What’s on draft this week? Our draft list rotates throughout the seaons, featuring some of our flagship beers such as Honey Tripel, Plymouth Rocks NE IPA, Squeezy Wrench Double IPA, Black Feather Porter, and Pilsnerd. We also have seasonal and specialty beers such as Dunkel, Grätzer, Braggot, Gruit, Full of Stars Imperial Stout, and Dark Winter Ale. The guiding principle (if there needs to be one) is that “beer should taste like beer”.

Black Feather Porter

Named for Black Feather Horse Rescue in Plymouth, IndieFerm donates $1 for every pint sold in the tap room to BFHR to help support the amazing work the do with unfortunate horses. We raised more than $600 for BFHR in 2017. This is a straight-ahead Porter with notes of coffee and chocolate from the dark roasted malts.

5.8% ABV | 40 IBU

Farmhouse Red

A dark saison or a funky red ales? Either way you look at it, it is tasty. Lots of dark malts for a robust bready backbone, but fermented with saison yeast for earthy flavors you don’t get in a normal red ale.

7% ABV | 35 IBU

Plymouth Rocks Session NE IPA

Brewed for Plymouth Rocks Events, a local non-profit group that supports the arts. It’s a juicy IPA with less alcohol than most so you can enjoy another. Local Rakau hops with Citra and Mosaic. Honestly, we tried to make it cloudy but good brewing practices seem to have prevailed.

5% ABV |50 IBU

Boat for Sale Pale Ale

We sold the boat, but are keeping the name. Boat For Sale Pale Ale is a modern American pale ale with rye malt. Tropical citrus and mango flavors come from the hops.

ABV – 6% | 36 IBU

Full of Stars Imperial Stout

“My God, it’s Full of Stars!” is what Dave the Astronaut says when he enters the black hole in 2001: A Space Odyssey. This beer is so dense it has its own gravity. Like a black hole. There’s lots of roasted malts, lots of hops, lots of everything. Thick and packed with flavor. Let it warm up a bit or full flavor.

8.8% ABV | 60 IBU

Sour Saison

Saisons originated in the farmhouses of Belgium, where every farm made its own beer to quench the thirst of the seasonal farm workers. Every farm made it a little different and a touch of funk and/or sour was common. This one was kettle soured with yogurt.

6.5% ABV | 28 IBU

Kombucha On Tap

Blueberry-Green Tea

A blend of our Tropical Green and Blueberry Roobis teas. This is one of our most popular blends. Slightly sweet. Slightly tart. Crisp. Fruity.

Classic Black

Plain & simple. Our black tea kombucha is slightly sweet with a hint of tart green apple

Tropical Green Tea

This green tea, ginger root, turmeric, citrus peel & lemongrass blend results in a kombucha that is very similar to Ginger Ale. Light and easy to drink.

Rotating Regular Brews

Hopshaker Pale Ale

A pale ale with cascade, citra, and chinook hops. Pine and citrus flavors are featured in this slightly hop-forward but balanced beer. Light bodied and easy drinking, very clean finish. 6% ABV, 40 IBU.

Rye and Sage Saison

Rye and Sage Saison was originally brewed for the wedding of friends of IndieFerm who are conveniently named Ry and Sage. It came out great so we keep making it. There are rye and sage in the beer as well as a bit of lemon zest. It has more body and a bit darker color than a typical saison but is still very easy-drinking. ABV is 6% and the IBUs are about 30.

Brown Ale

A straight forward British-style ale that is not as bold as you might assume from the color. It’s just a nice, easy-drinking beer. A little bit malty with hits of coffee from the dark roasted malts. Pairs well with Monopoly during a winter storm.

5% ABV and 25 IBU

Honey Tripel

Honey Tripel is similar to a Belgian monastery style tripel but with Massachusetts made honey instead of the more commonly used sugar. Sugar is used in this style to keep the body light and the finish dry. Honey does the same thing but adds some great aromatics. The hops stay in the background to let the honey and yeast-derived flavors come through. The barley and wheat malts are almost entirely Massachusetts made and most of the hops are Massachusetts grown too. Color is golden. BTW – you can pronounce it however you want, but tripel sounds the same as “triple” when we say it.

ABV 8.1% with 33 IBU

Old’s Cool IPA

Do you remember when IPA’s tasted like beer, not orange juice? Do you ever wonder what all that yucky haze is in your New England IPA? Now you don’t have to, we have brought back the classic American IPA old school style. Brewed and dry hopped with the 4 classic American C Hops (citra is not one of them). 6% ABV, 50 IBU.

Irish Riviera Red

(Spring Seasonal) The South Shore, aka the “Irish Riviera”, is our home, so we named this red ale in tribute to all the immigrants who left their homes to find a better life here – not just the Irish. The beer is an easy-drinking, mild ale in the style of an Irish Red Ale.

5% ABV and 30 IBU

Dark Winter Ale

Dark Winter Ale is our Holiday-season seasonal beer. A complex strong ale with spices for winter sipping. Thyme along with hints of cinnamon and orange peel compliment the dark maltiness of this deep red ale.

ABV 9% and 36 IBU

Rotating Kombucha Blends

Nourished

Our Classic Black Tea blended with “I am Nourished” from Coastal Roots Apothecary. We brewed this one as a test batch for our friends at Wicked Healthy in Kingston, and liked it so much we put it on tap at the shop as well.

Black Mango

Chinese black tea blended with a fruit “tea” containing apples, rosehip, lemon pieces, hibiscus petals, calendula petals, and orange pieces. No mango in this, but don’t be surprised if it makes you want to tango.

Blueberry Roobis

Organic roobis tea blended with hibiscus flowers, blueberries, and strawberries. Sweet and fruity. Hard to believe this is Kombucha.

Cha Verde

This Portuguese Green Tea comes from the oldest operating tea plantation in Europe and makes a light, but earthy kombucha.

Dunbar

Our friends at the Dunbar Tea Room in Sandwich, MA have a great house tea that’s a cranberry and almond blend. This makes a surprisingly creamy tasting kombucha that stays a bit on the sweeter side.

Portuguese Pekoe Tea

A black tea that’s a little bit more earthy than our regular blend.
